It’s incredible how our team members have stepped up to give back in 2024.

It’s a testament to their character and a reflection of our culture. They’re not just punching a clock – they’re out there dedicating their energy and free time to making a real difference in our communities.

Let’s peek into some opportunities our team has taken in the last few months to boost internal culture and build stronger ties with the community. From food banks to animal shelters, senior care to youth education, our team really puts their hearts into it.

UNBOX THE FUTURE with the Girl Scouts

Back in February, Symbia Logistics was thrilled to host multiple groups of Girl Scouts in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana. These events at our Bolingbrook, Illinois Campus gave young scouts an exclusive peek behind the scenes of one of our fulfillment centers where they learned firsthand how the cookies travel through the national supply chain in order to end up at their customers’ door. Educating and inspiring the next generation is a core passion here at Symbia Logistics. We’re proud to contribute to their growth and curiosity!

Food Bank Of Northern Nevada

In May, our Reno Leadership team spent time volunteering at the amazing Food Bank of Northern Nevada. They provide support for families in need across northern Nevada and the eastern slope of the Sierra in California, serving more than 153,000 people every month, almost half of whom are children and seniors. If you are able to lend a hand, your local Food Bank is always looking to fill volunteer slots!

Colorado Pet Pantry

Also in May, the Denver crew showed up again for an amazing day volunteering for the Colorado Pet Pantry offering transportation services to help their mission of keeping pets from being surrendered to shelters. This is an amazing organization that provides food, resources and medicine to pets in need in the Colorado region. To volunteer or if you know someone in need of support visit coloradopetpantry.org.

Pet Food Experts

The Symbia Denver team stepped up again volunteering for Pet Food Experts in Denver. This amazing organization provides food, resources and medicine to pets in need in the Colorado region. Visit petfoodexperts.com to volunteer or if you know of anyone who needs support.

Yard Angels

Our Colorado team and some of their family members went out for two volunteering efforts in May supporting Yard Angels in their mission to help seniors and veterans with limited income avoid costly citations by assisting with yard cleanup. If you or your team would like to volunteer, or if you know somebody who needs extra assistance this summer, reach out to Volunteers of America Colorado.

A Heartfelt Thanks to Our Volunteers

When our employees get involved in these initiatives, their efforts inspire us all to create a better world, and it reinforces our belief that when the community does better, we do better.
