Growth is the Name of the Game

In business, growth is the name of the game. The more the better, but in these times of economic uncertainty, really any amount of growth is impressive.

Symbia realized 5165% growth between 2013 and 2016! Yes, 5165%. This is much higher than the median, heck, it was impressive enough to make the Inc. 500! In the 2017 list that was released August 16, Symbia debuted at #68 overall, #3 in the Logistics and Transportation category, and #1 in Colorado.

The aggregate growth rate of transportation and logistics companies between 2009 and 2012 was 114%.

While we are not the type to brag, who are we kidding? This is a BIG deal! The Inc. 500 is the list to be on, with its annual ranking of the fastest growing privately held companies in America and we are honored to share the limelight with other companies like Momentum Solar, Allego, Inspire Medical Solutions, and RightDirection Technology Solutions.

“We are so proud to have made the Inc. 500,” says Megan Smith, Symbia’s CEO. “For us, growth is more than just a number. We are a family-owned business that consistently exceeds customer expectations and establishes long-term partnerships.”

At the risk of sounding like a bad Academy Award speech, there are a number of people we need to acknowledge because without them, we wouldn’t be here.

A big thank you to:

  • Our customers. We have the best ones EVER and are so grateful they trust us with their business. We work to earn that trust every day.

  • Our team. They are truly amazing. It sounds like a cliche to say we wouldn’t be here without them, but it’s true. We have surpassed our craziest goals, and it’s because of our people.

  • Megan Smith, our fearless leader and CEO. She put Symbia in the pond with the big fish yet honors the family values the company was founded on.

2017 marks the 36th anniversary of the Inc. 500, an occasion that will be marked in style with a gala celebration, October 10-12 in Palm Desert, CA. The event features thought provoking speakers, networking opportunities with the best of the best, and of course, the distribution of the Inc. 500 awards. We’re already looking for the perfect place to put ours.
