Break out a high five for Megan the next time you see her. Our fearless CEO Megan Smith was recently named a 2018 Enterprising Woman of the Year by Enterprising Women magazine. Way to go, Megan!
The Enterprising Women of the Year Awards is widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners. To win, nominees must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of the honorees also serve as leaders of the key organizations that support the growth of women’s entrepreneurship. Megan certainly checks all the boxes.
“The recipients of the 2018 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards represent an amazing group of women entrepreneurs from across the United States and as far away as Kenya and Malta,” said Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women. “We could not be more proud to recognize their accomplishments as CEOs of fast-growth companies, community leaders, and role models and mentors to other women and girls. We look forward to shining the spotlight on them at our 16th annual awards event in March.”
Megan was one of 16 women recognized in the “over $25 million and up to $100 million in annual revenues” category. Along with the other accomplished ladies, Megan will be recognized at the upcoming 16th Annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration and Conference in Miami, Florida.
“I’m honored to receive this prestigious award and to be in the company of these other very driven, accomplished female entrepreneurs. This just goes to show that when you have an amazing team behind you, anything is possible,” Megan said.
